At this moment, our lead time is around 3-4 years. Because we make many different models, it is impossible to give a more exact lead time. A 65 key Hayden or 56 key English Tenor-Treble takes much longer to complete than a 'simple' 30 key anglo. Because of the flexibility of our ordering system, and the extensive customization we offer, it is impossible to be more exact.

Placing an order
Placing an order for a Wakker Concertina consists of 2 steps:

Step 1: reserving a slot on the waiting list

Step 2: Finalizing the order, giving us your instrument specifications.

          Step 1:
          In order to be added to our waiting list, we require a $200 non refundable deposit.
          We don't need any order specifications at the time you're added to the list, just a name,
          address, phone number and email address.

          The deposit secures a place on the list, but does NOT lock in any specifications of your
          instrument. You're free to change your order as often as you like while waiting for us to
          start on your concertina.
          Many people use the waiting time to gather information. Feel free to ask as many questions
          as you like while waiting to fine tune your order. We notice that many people make
          adjustments to their original specifications during this time.

From the moment you're on the list, your price is locked in. There are no price increases
while waiting.

          Step 2:
          We'll contact you about 4 weeks before we start on the instrument to ask for your
          specifications. Some people will have made a decision, and can send us their specifications
          right away. Others need the 4 weeks to finalize their order.

          Depending on the complexity of the instruments, we build our concertinas in small batches
          of 2-3 instruments. Production time generally varies from 8-12 weeks. We will contact you
          again when the instrument is finished to arrange payment (minus $200 deposit) and delivery
          of the instrument.
