The W-A3 model is identical in design to the A2, except for the tuning, which is either in G/D, or F/C.  The parallel reed pans allow for optimal chamber dimensions, which results in a full, rich sound.  The lowest reed of the long scaling used in this instrument is 46mm/ 1.81 inch long.  None of the reeds have weights added to the tip of the reed.

        Standard configuration:

  • 30 key Wheatstone or Jeffries layout. 

  • Parallel reed pan

  • 7 fold bellows

  • Flat hardwood ends (raised optional)

  • Tuning: G/D or F/C

  • Long scale reeds: steel tongue in individual brass frames

  • Domed metal keys/delrinŽ cores.
